Ok..lets say American government sent all the troops to secure the oil reservoirs and wealth that does not belong to Iraq anymore...ahh and of course to maintain peace...lol...
But within America itself it is so easy to buy weapons...who will protect americans from mad teenagers who have guns and are pissed at their siblings or anything else???
Columbine and Virginia Shootings...Gangs and all that stuff...so who is to deal with REAL THREAT TO AMERICA's SAFETY??? Stop counting $$$ that you get from selling guns and start counting dead American people that died within the country!!!

The general idea, dear to the hearts of Jeffersonian Democrat-Republicans, was a limited government. Because governments by nature have the power of coercive force, they are more dangerous to the rights of any individual.
Enforce the Bill of Rights, protect and control the boarders, and you will automatically protect the country from the Americans who wish to destroy it. This is the mandate of the US Federal Government, according to the Constitution. I would suggest that we tar and feather any Representative or Senator that believes otherwise.

How can anyone answer this unless they also have such a extreme pessimistic outlook. Your creating these possibilities from your own perceptions of tragedies like Columbine and putting seal of guarantee on it as if what you say would happen. The prospect of a child who is angry with their parents and 3 feet away from a gun at the time will not change statistics of dead Americans as you claim. The odds the child takes the gun and shoots the parents are not likely especially if the child was raised properly. Every society deals with depression mental illness, and suicide, these are factors that surrounds tragedies like Columbine.

I carry a gun to class with me. And if some whack job ever starts shooting up my class he will be suprised when I start shooting back. I spend two days a month at the range. I have laser grips. I am a crack shot. So the answer is me. I will protect myself and you liberals with my gun.Ill probably get prosecuted for breaking the gun ban but at least Ill save some people. Oh yeah and if that sign on the door saying gun free zone didnt stop me from getting in then how the hell is it supposed to stop some Nutt who isnt gonna take the time to read it.

Your question is idiotic. Columbine was a case of suicidal teenagers raiding grandad's gun cabinet...and Virginia Tech is a textbook example of how foolish the notion of "gun-free zones" can and will be again. Try counting the lives that have been saved by average Americans practicing responsible gun ownership. There's a good chance you are already among them without even knowing it.

The best solution is to stop the sale and use of illegal drugs.
In every case where kids have shot up a school those kids that did the shooting were illegal drug users.
The illegal drugs are what caused those kids to be deranged in the first place.
If you stop the illegal drug use, you stop the violence.
It is time to get serious about preventing the importation and use of illegal drugs.
That is what you need to do to solve your problem.

The only other way is to surrender your freedoms to the government and the resultant dictatorship. Soviet Union was one of the safest places in the world - it was just a terrible place to live because of that.

Question is very good. But don't worry our government already took care of it. One example can be program called Highway Watch. Its agenda is to turn our truck drivers into government informants. In Georgia you cannot even get or renew commercial driver license if you are not sign in.
