....and especially P&S . Some of the questions really simply beggars belief. Very offending avatars and extremely immature questions/answers. Should Y! Answers be split by age ? I suppose next to impossible to police that.

'heythere097': Gee ...wish I thought of saying that. Touché. Well done. You've given me food for thought and an insight into the inner workings of the mind of which, I am certain, will reveal loads to me in due course. Or.......put another way.....you are the perfect reason why I asked my question.

I mean please feel free to look at my question history. I mix it up between jokes (good jokes) and politics. I love P&S for light relief and it is fun. But questions like "Heh. Did you.....?" and that is it. I mean. Did Intelligence leave with the Roman Empire ? When are school holidays over? Bring it onnnnnnnn.

'sonispucca_13'. You HONESTLY can't see why I asked that question? Don't be naieve. Look around you here on the site. Read the questions. If I read one more "Am I cute?" type question I am going to scream.

I accept as true with you, yet there is not way that i recognize of. they could desire to make a young person YA for like 12-18. It occurs to me so in many situations, i'm asking a serious question, and get the "i don't recognize" yet, basically report them...in the event that they get a sufficient comments on not giving a answer or ranting they're going to be kicked off.

Well, some of the question are funny. The ones that are obviously jokes anyway, but I understand what you mean by immature, and it is very annoying. And I have seen some of the avatars you are talking about, and I think those people ARE over 18. It should probably be split by age, but like you said, I doubt it will happen.

yeah, even though im under 18. (16) i get really annoyed with nonsense questions like "AvAtAr GaMe" i like Y!A because if i had a question that irritated me that i couldnt answer i could find it on here or ask about it and get a good answer. i didn't expect to see loads of crap that people ask and answer, i really hate it when people answer questions with "i dont know" or "thats interesting" if they dont know the answer then find another question. i dont want stupidity i just want to be given good answers and give good answers. if anything, they should make a category for that damn avatar game or questions that dont belong anywhere. im glad you asked this question. i feel less annoyed with Y!A now that i've said all that.

Yes. I think there IS a wide variety of age groups .... but it's summer & a lot of kids are out of school & bored.
Sometimes there's some real questions by the younger members out there that I feel NEED answered by we older ones....but then there's also the young ones that think their being cute by giving stupid answers....this isn't algebra class where that gets laughs.
Don't sweat it - you learn how to weed out the ones that don't apply to you.

I can agree that the level of "immaturity" on this site and in this section is getting out of hand. However, I don't agree with the generalization. I believe that "Maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them and *less to do with how many birthdays you’ve celebrated..."

I agree there are a lot of immature questions and answers. I'm just not sure how many of them are posted by kids. I've met some older quacks in my life. And, I am not a youngster.

Definitely. Seen how many irrelevant, unanswerable questions there are? It's not so much age though, there are just a lot of idiots in the world. Let's face it, most of the world is dumb. Watch Korn's video Evolution. Then you'll know. If you don't get it, your one of the idiots.

no. it's a given that any divisions are impractical and unenforceable.
i reamain unconvinced that youth is the primary cause of
P&S's woes, and i'm 53.
some of the kids on here are among my friends and just a very few has sought my advice.
it's nice to be considered both a friend and confidante to all comers. that's why i leave my messenger on and available to any decent member of our community.
