Do you think there should be a vote of no confidence in the US? I think it would force the President to be accountable for his/her actions.

Hmmm. Interesting idea, but I don't think it would work. Since many people assume the president is responsible for laws and acts through Congress, who is really to blame? I mean, the people voted in the president, and they voted for the representatives in Congress, so a no confidence vote would be like voting no confidence for their own earlier choice. And, if we did have a no confidence vote, then what? Does the president get kicked out? Is he put on an improvement plan? Do we take away Airforce One and make him fly coach?

A no confidence vote is something done in a parliamentary government to remove a prime minister, or get a dissolution of government followed by a general election.
