Is weed bad for you? It is illegal but several political parties in Canada want 2 make it less illegal and one even wants to legalize it! Also many people go out of their way to get weed so it can't be that bad can it? I smoke weed once and it was amazing! It didn't taste like cigarettes or anything else, it smelled good and left me feelin really good.

It's bad for me. I know a whole lot of women I couldn't stand to be around "that time of the month" if they weren't stoned the whole time.

Weed it not bad for you.
The only downside is that you feel a little lazy,
The media insists on giving weed bad publicity because at the end of the day it is a natural plant that can be planted in your own back garden..therefore nobody makes any money from it and it would squish the cigarette corporations, and the tax the government make off cigs.
That's why they made it illegal.
FACT- Alcohol related deaths vs Weed related deaths.
How many weed related deaths have you heard of? EVER?
How many alcohol related deaths? Countless...

Well this like asking about good wine versus bad wine. A lot comes down to individual preference. Ideally though, the female flowering buds have not been fertilized and hence have not gone to seed. For potency, trichromes (resin glands) should be readily visible on the the flower buds and should be producing enough resin so that it appears crystalline when dry. Although not uniformly regarded as fact, sativa variants tend to have a more brainy, cerebral high, where indicas have a more narcotic like feel. Color, odor, texture can all vary depending on strain and methods of growing and drying.

Breathing in any kind of smoke is bad for you to some extent, so I'd say yes, although it's not nearly as bad as the government has tried to make it sound over the past several decades. But since when does everything that's bad for you have to be illegal? Using that kind of logic the government would also have to ban other risky things like booze, fatty foods, tobacco, casual sex, mountain climbing, etc.

It depends on what you mean by "bad for you". Everything in moderation. For example too many french fries are bad for you, to much whiskey is bad for you, even too much water is bad for you (if enough is consumed in a short period of time). It depends on a lot of different factors. If you are over 18 and smoke weed once every three months; you probably will never notice any ill effects. If you smoke weed three or four times a day for five years you will probably experience problems with short and long term memory, you will probably have issues with paranoia, and you may have some fine motor skill issues (manipulating small objects with your hands / fingers)

It's not physically addictive and not toxic but the smoked form is more harmful to the lungs then is cigarettes (mitigated by the fact that the average cigarette smoker smokes far more cigarettes per day then the average pot smoker so the overall effect is worse for cigarettes - however, will daily average pot usage increase if it were legal?). Also beware that since it is illegal, one has to get it from dealers who tend to pressure one into trying harder, more addictive (and more profitable) drugs.

Look it is bad for you, it just isn't as bad as some other things. You are still killing brain cells.

Do not listen to those who say marijuana is harmless. That is total bull. Yes, the numbers are lower for marijuana related deaths than deaths caused by alcohol; but they still occur. Somebody smoking a joint behind the wheel can be just as dangerous as somebody with a blood alcohol level of 0.18. In fact the law sees no difference between drunk drivers and stoned drivers; both are charged with DUI (Driving Under the Influence).

Double check those political parties a little bit more-where do they stand on the important issues? There is often a lot of confusion between marijuana and hemp. Hemp (ditch weed) has very low levels of THC (what gives you the buzz in marijuana). There is strong support for the growing of hemp for various reason (clothing fiber, fuel, food, etc) but it won't do much to get you high.
