I've been on YAZ for about a month and a half, my dr. prescribed to go 3 months before my period. But this past week I've been cramping and having quite a lot of break through bleeding. Everyone says that its to be expected, but how much? When should I seek a dr. and will this happen every 3 months?
I'm not sexually active.

I had a huge problem with breakthrough bleeding while on it's sister product Yasmin and I was very uncomfortable. I got in touch with my doctor to let her know what was going on to see what she thought. I eventually had to switch to a different brand. I would recommend getting in touch with your doctor to see what they say. In the mean time try increasing the amount of iron you take in during this time by eating things like spinach, raisins, and peanut butter (if not allergic to peanuts of course).
