I always assumed "brass in pocket" was slang for money. I do know that "got bottle" (the next line) is British slang for confidence or courage.

It also means, and not being rude...but you asked..that a males member is protruding into your pocket area..a hole in the pocket ..playing pocket pool etc...whopping ur one eyed trouser trout etc....

Good song BTW. There is one place/one phrase in there that is completely impossible to translate,,,for me at least.

Otherwise most is slang that's no so hard.
