No, Arthur Nourse was 42 years old when he made 111 for South Africa v Australia at Johannesburg in 1921.
I don't think Kumble has put Sachin, Ganguly or Dravid to shame by scoring his century. It's amazing what he did, but the other batsmen played well too. You can't expect them to make centuries all the time. They are batsmen but still take wickets, so it's only normal that someday a bowler makes a 100 too. Like Agarkar did with his maiden century in 2002.

No. Jack Hobbs of England was the oldest player to score a century. He scored century against Australia at the age of 46 years and 82 days.
