August 8, 2007 — Rep. Randy Kuhl said he will establish new safety precautions at his district offices after anti-war protesters stormed his Steuben County and Fairport offices Monday and refused to leave, leading to some arrests.

"It's obvious some of these people came with the idea of getting arrested," Kuhl said Tuesday

Kuhl said that he "thought about packing" firearms to fend off protesters.

Concealed carry is every law-abiding American's birthright.
I wouldn’t blame him or anyone else who wanted to arm themselves because of these anti-war, anti-American sociopaths who track them down and wait for them. They’re sick and dangerous. Anti-war protests are notorious magnets for hippies, socialists, degenerate lifestyle advocates, labor thugs, malcontents and other assorted criminals of every stripe.

He should pack, but not concealed.... Have it locked and loaded, when some hippy pulls out his weapon he needs to be ready to shoot the degenerate.

I have no objection to any citizen carrying a gun for protection against criminals and tyrants. That right is CLEARLY spelled out in the constitution despite what the enemies of freedom from either side of the aisle will tell you.

The 2nd Amendment and the SDA Act of the State of Oklahoma give me that right why should Rep Kuhl be excluded.

Just to put things in perspective, some peaceful protesters came into a recruiting station in Pittsburgh back in 1983 and broke a recruiters leg with a protest sign when he asked them to leave. Maybe packing heat is a prudent idea after all.

Yes I agree that we all should be able to carry firearms. Especially the patriots that are against illegal wars on nations that did nothing to us except by our weapons. War protesters are not thugs its the people that are for going to war unjustly that should be imprisoned. If you feel the war is just how come your here crying about war protesters why arent you i Iraq I know why cause your a big Pussee. Anyone can join a militia and go immediatly so off with you and leave our kids that havent even begin to start their life to stay and protect this nations borders. You are a head piece for Bill Oreilly and that is evil. Let the revolution begin!!! Ron Paul for president.
As for the dummies that think this whole nation building fake war on terror thing we are not afriad of these so called terrorist so dont go taking anyh of our rights away on account of that. We are not afriad give me liberty or give me death!!!!
That is what this country was founded on and if you do not agree get the f out we are not here to appease war mongers and the military industrial complex that seeks to control the world via the federal reserve you really need some education.
Start below you misinformed whining lil baby.

You want people to be allowed to carry concealed weapons in this day and age? Sorry, that is just plain stupid.

It doesn't really take much to set someone off nowadays. Road rage, parents attacking coaches, etc..

Someone says something wrong, pisses of someone, what happens? Pulls the gun.

He can hire more security if needed.

And it bothers no one that this guy has already pulled a gun on his ex-wife twice? And you want to allow him to carry a concealed one?

Oh please.

Carrying a concealed weapon is worthless against a violent mob.

But increasing security at his district office might be wise, especially as the Republican policies of the last few years, andtheir after effects continue to make more people unhappy.

People like Kuhl and all those who so gleefully ship others overseas to die while they sit at their nice cushy jobs should all be yanked up and shipped to the front lines. Then we will see how great they think this war is.

I agree with his right to do so, and his right to defend himself from harm.

If more people were carrying, it might prove a greater deterrent for those who think about attacking.
