... this is a good question, I'm giving it a Star!! My first-ever star! It got me thinking

I dont think it would be really different, honestly... maybe the year would go backwards, instead of winter, spring, summer then fall and back again.. maybe it would be fall, summer, spring, and winter?

besides, that means the Earth's axis is rotating the complete opposite of how its rotating right now

and we would be watching the blood-red sky for the sunset in the east, instead of the west

Well if that were true there would have to be huge change in the earth orbit around the sun and such and this could cause all sorts of problems - but if you ignore that youd still have problems because of buildings designed to face the sun at a certain time, solar panels facing the wrong way, peoples sundials having to be renumbered... Christians and stuff would call it a miracle and the scientists would try to disprove them but fail, finally giving all them religous folks grounds for a global crusade against pagans, who would use their magic powers to EXPLODE the world!

no longer inspired, yet probable lifeless. If the sunlight rose in the West then that ought to point something catastrophic could have exceeded off to the Earth of the photograph voltaic gadget, so the climate could be screwed and gravity probable would not artwork or something!

if the sun were to rise in the west then the earth would rotate in the opposite direction making the ice age never happen thus making the earth about 700 degress celius right now and making the earth freeze over in about 300 more years hope I helped =)

Well the simplest answer would simply be that all things effected by the sun, and the earth's rotation would be backwards or inverted or whatever, but it probably wouldn't be.

Weather would possibly be completely different because of geography and the laout of the continents, therefore, we would possibly be completely different, and maybe humans wouldn't be what we are today.

But that's just my theory.

FYI: At the end of one of John Wayne's worst movies, "The Green Berets", the sun is slowly sinking over the coastal horizon. The only beaches in Vietnam are on its' EAST side!

well the crab apple tree in my yard will probably bend the other way...vancouver would be 3 hours ahead of me instead of 3 hours slow...the ancient calenders that were based on the sun would be opposite...so would sundials...and i guess astrology would change too since the earth is not rotating another way...um well other than that i guess it would pretty much be the same

Hmmm....interesting question. Probably not. Given the earths rotation is at the same speed and tilt!

Well depending on which way your window faces we might have to rollover so the sun isn't in our eyes when we wake up...
