Try this:

Login to your guest account.
Click Start
Click Run
Type: CMD
At the prompt type: net user
Hit ENTER
Users will be listed
Type: net user Administrator *
(or replace admin with whatever your user name is)
Hit ENTER
It will say "type a password for this use"
Type in any password you want - you will not see any characters being entered...not even ****.
Hit ENTER
Confirm Password
Hit ENTER
Close the Command window
Restart PC and try to loging to your account with new password.

Hope this helps you.

If not you can lookup and download a bootable hack cd to recover your original password.

Then type

Windows XP Pro ships without an administrator password. When you boot into safe mode, don't enter any password.

Don't worry follow these steps and you'll be fine (you're lucky that you're in Guest account):

1. Go to command prompt and type in "net user" (without the quotes). *You will now see the list of users that are administrators or limited accounts.
2. Now type in "net user 'name of your account you forgot' *"
An example of this looks like this:
C:\Documents and Settings\Guest> net user bob *
3. Once you pressed Enter from the previous step you will now be prompted to enter a password for that account, which will replace your forgotten password.
4. Type it in and log off or reboot your computer and type in the new password. It should work now.

*If you CANNOT get into your command prompt tell me and I'll tell you how to get it to show easily.

if you had never set a password on your computer for administrator. then try to use default passwords. such as: password, admin, administrator, or just hit enter. there is another way to do it, but it will cost you to buy the software to reset it. your only hope left after that will be to re-install your windows.
