You get out of life what you put into it. San Francisco is a big investment, big return city. It may be the most diverse place in the world. Few people speak less than 2 languages. There are a lot of very intelligent, easy going people here. If you are creative and persistent you can find affordable rent and a good job.
That being said, rents are higher here relative to wages than in most places. It is not an easy city to prosper in for the average person; the atmosphere is what draws many people. Since your question has more than 1/2 dozen spelling, grammatical and puncuation errors, I recommend that you spend more time preparing before coming to San Francisco. A college degree in a scientific or technical field will give you an advantage here (or anywhere else). I am not trying to be critical, but when I receive a job or rental application with multiple typos, poor grammar, etc. I do not seriously consider it. I look to hire people who make the extra effort to polish their work. I rent to people who will take care of the property. San Francisco rewards extra effort. Are you motivated yet?

It would be better to find a job, before moving to a city (unless you can put all of your possessions in your car). SF is a beautiful city with great weather and lots of good restaurants. OTOH, the cost of living is very high as many ppl will attest to. I can see the advantage of living in a city with all of the cultural amenities (opera, theater, concerts, etc.). OTOH, many ppl just go to work, watch tv and surf the net and it seems like a person could do that anywhere in the U.S. Nobody can tell you what's right for you. You'll just have to spend some time in SF to get a better idea.

Expect to spend $1200/month for rent in a studio
Otherwise, you are going to need lots of roommates to have a decent roof over your head in a relatively safe neighborhood.
While jobs are plentiful, the market here is very competitive.
I would think long and hard about SF before making a decision. Unless you have unlimited resources it can be a challenging place to live. (Most of us only work in SF, but live in other areas outside of the City)

If you're gay, and have a lot of money,
and don't mind the fog, and the overactive,
intrusive government and like the thrill of
awaiting the big earthquake. - Then Yes.
