Can anyone help me, I have a dsl box.......and I currently bought a laptop with WIFI built in....all i need to know know is how to use my dsl to use internet without the cable on my lap top...??

Congratulations on the new laptop. Getting your laptop online wirelessly is simple, if you have all the required equipment. Does your DSL box generate a wireless signal? If not, you will need to buy a wireless router (or wireless DSL modem). You can purchase either of these from stores liek Best Buy, Staples, etc. for under $60. Good luck!

you should have software with the modem to help you set it up. on your computer go to Control Panel and go to Internet connections and click on wireless network. click enable if i isnt already. click refresh network lis and one should pop up that is yours- you may have to contact the 800 number that goes to either your internet service provider or the router because they will need to give you a password and all so that noone else can hack and steal your wireless. if you click on that and the wireless connects- you should be able to go from there. if not it may be password protected and you would need to contact the service provider.
