WHY? Can they do this? Would YOU be in favor of that if it happened in YOUR city?

San Francisco city officials are trying to force taxpayers to pay for immigrants' green cards and citizenship – and to bolster their case for the new tax, they've introduced a resolution condemning national radio talk-show host Michael Savage for what they call his "defamatory language ... against immigrants."

San Fransicko has a long and illustrious history of enacting the most anti-American, illogical, immoral policies of any city in the USA, with the possible exception of Berkeley, CA

Between the both of them they are the modern equivalent of Sodom and Gamorrah

what can I say? San Fran is a beautiful city and area. Its a shame the political apparatus of San Francisco is full of self absorbed power mongers
I cannot believe any large city has the resources to waste dealing with radio shows
city government should pick up the trash, reduce crime, and run good schools
I hope the good people of San Francisco notice and throw these bums out

They're a bunch of anti-American, illiberal fascists that are working with the illegals alien criminals against patriotic Americans.

Savage is already planning on suing the city for defamation.

The illegal aliens are trampling on our borders, language, and culture and "Ford Perfect" (answerer above) says the real issue is Alberto Gonzales. Is he insane? The Constitution, Alberto Gonzales, Iraq, the economy, and gas prices don't matter IF AMERICA IS GONE!!!

Michael Savage has for a long time said that liberalism is a mental disorder, and for good reason.

Well, too bad everyone in government just about is for the new world order (world banks) agenda of a border-less world and no sovereignty of nations.

Funny, it seems like you people are always all for it, how this government sells this country down the river,

until wait, the Mexicans come in and we don't have a Constitution or anymore skilled jobs,
oh well.

Hey Ped0phile.... There are a lot of people here legally waiting for visas. For example, a student on a student visa who is trying to get married and waiting for a fiance or spouse visa is one example. And of course all of that requires additional fees and such. Also, it can take longer to get the green card then the immigrant visa allows for, which now requires travel or multiple tourist visas. This happened to my family. They traveled back and forth every 90 days because of it. Again, more cost to come here through the legal process. And then once you have the green card, it's only good for 2 years initially and has to be renewed, and guess what, yet another fee for that too. And if you overstay one of those visas, your done for.

When a party tries to buy votes (democrats) this is what happens.

Sell America short to gain power.

Well, the elected officials from that area tend to be liberal wackos. Such a lovely city but who would want to live there?

You know the relative that, when you're young, just seems delightfully eccentric...and when you get older, you realize they're just nuts?

That's how San Francisco is for me.

your just jealous because you got turned down for a green card. i'm on to you Icelander!
