It took me over 6 years to finally get pregnant. I had been married to my first husband 4 years before we divorced, and I never got pregnant. I married hubby #2 and still didn't get pregnant for another 2 years. I had a baby at 25 and then had twins at 30. I really thought I couldn't have kids after the first couple of years. I think this was one of the reasons my 1st husband and I divorced, cuz he wanted kids so badly. He now has 3 or 4 of his own.

Be patient. I know you're probably tired of hearing that, but have you seen a doctor yet? If you really want a baby that badly, it may be time to see a fertility specialist. If nothing happens within the next year or two, take both of you to the doctor and get boyfriend checked out, as well as yourself. Good luck to you.

I don't know how old you are but, most doctors will see a woman after she has been trying unsuccessfully to get pregnant for a year. If you are over 35, they may see you sooner. I have been through the whole infertility work up and it is no fun. It is not painful but, there are many tests and it can take many months before you may find out what is maybe the issue, or you may not find out any reason at all for you to not be getting pregnant. Men tend to have a more difficult time being willing to go through the whole process although there part in the tests is far less intrusive than a woman's. I think the chances of it being a man's problem are just as high as it being the woman's problem -- although I could be remembering that wrong because it just seems logical that there are more things that could go wrong for the woman now that I've said that. Anyway, don't get discouraged if your boyfriend isn't immediately looking forward to going for help.

There could be a problem with him. Just because you cycle is normal does not mean that there is noting wrong with you. Have you been on any birth control? That can cause a problem too. I had that problem after the depo-provera shot. It took me almost 18 mo. to get pregnant after the shot wore off. I would say to get an ovulation kit from like cvs pharmacy or even wal mart has them. If that still dont work go to your Dr and tell them. They can run tests on both of you. If not, hey there is always serogant or adoption. I wish you the very best of luck!!!!!

The first thing you must dio is to get both of yourself medically checked for and ptroblems .if all is well then follow my simple advice and see the magic work.

You must count the days from the day your period ends. The first seven days are safe days the next three are days where the risk of becoming pregnant bigins. Now the 11th day onwards your chance of getting pregnant is increasing. The 13th to the 17 day of your period is the most fertile day, that is if you have intercourse and your man ejaculates in you the chances are that you will get pregnant, provided you are not taking any pills or are having no other problems. You will notice that during these days your body temperature rises a bit and you will feel a wet in you vagina, wet and slimy and it will be sticky with mucus, you will also feel good when you have sex with his penis sliding in smoothly. This is the best time to have intercourse to get pregnant Then 18 day onwards your chance of getting pregnant diminishes to your week before your periods which is supposed to be the safe period again. Try it and you will succeed. Also consult your Doctor for sound advice.

1st to 5th You have your periods
6th to 12th Safe days for sex
13th to 16th Risk days begin
17th to 20th Most fertile days
21st to 23rd Risk days diminish
24th to 30th Safe days again

I'd work with your doctors like others here have said, also, if you were on the pill that can take like 18 months to get out of your system.
