I know that happens with betta fish, but what about goldfish, im new to their care, so im not sure if i should feed them until they stop eating, or what

They definately keep eating and always act hungry. Just get them on a feeding schedule. maybe am's and pm's, not too much or they "poop" a lot and tank needs to be changed often. Also - goldfish release a chemical that kills most other fish, so ask at the pet store before buying other kinds to go in the tank.

I've never heard of a fish bursting from overeating, but your water will go bad with the leftover food. Just feed very little at a time, then give a little more only if food gets eaten.

Yeah. Theyll let thier selves burst. Fish only need to be fed a couple flakes a day. Like 2 flakes 2 times a day.

I think they will just keep eating. All of the goldfish ive had never left any food in the tank.

Once my little sister put too much food in.

\i got really worried and tried to get some out but couldn't

my gold fish ate as much as they usualy do and then stopped and acted normal

it's just like humans. you know u have food in the kitchen sitting there but if your not hungry you won't eat it will u?

they will constantly eat....they wont noe wen to stop so make sure u dont over feed them

goldfish are hungreh little creatures......they will continue eating even if they are dieng......dont exagerate with the food.cheers
