I just found out last Friday. I was 17 weeks exactly and it was very obviously a BOY! Everything I've been told is 16 to 20 weeks is the earliest you can tell the baby's sex.

Honestly, they can tell now by the time you are six weeks, however "they don't like to." So they normally wait until 12-18 weeks to make sure what they see is REALLY there. Ask for a sonogram that is generally done right before the second trimester and it's pretty awesome. I hear the latest technology has black and white sonograms beat... if you ask they will give you a copy of the if or pics off of it....

Typically from around 17 to 20 weeks. Depends on where your dr. visit falls within that time frame. I found out about 17 weeks... It may be possible with few ppl to find out sooner, but only by a week or so, and that might be when the due date is off a bit.

I found out by ultra-sound with all 3 of mine around 20 weeks...
When I first heard the heartbeats though I pretty much new... I know people say you can't really go by that but for mine it worked!!!
My boys were both between 134 and 138 and then my daughter averaged about 158 to 165...
They say boys beat slower and girls faster...

Usually at the 18-20 week u/s they can find out BUT an u/s is NOT 100% accurate. An amnio is (also done around the same time) but is dangerous and not done to just find out the sex.

Usually between 4-5 months, if the genitals are visible on the ultrasound.

I found out our three at the 12 week ultrasound.
But for certain? When they are born!
