I think that it affects people positively in the way of cultural eduaction. I think that in many ways it's like watching animals on the discovery channel. YOu get to watch real people with real problems. It doesn't always have the ending your going to be satisfied with, and that's how real life is. I think throwing a bunch of people together from different parts of the world helps them to learn the differences and be accepting.

I absolutely love reality t.v.
Everyone I know, knows I really can't stop talking about it .
It affects me socially, and positively.. just by the fact that I get excited abotu what occurs, and being able to chat about the drama with friends, and family.
Negatively as well, I get devestated when something doesn't go the way I would have hoped, but I cope with it later on :)

I think on some reality TV shows (like, The Hills or Laguna Beach) it makes people more dramatic

It makes me realize there is no such thing as reality tv. It is all scripted no matter how much they want us to believe it isn't.
The only reality tv could be xtreme sports or scarred, but in scarred's case I have to wonder how many idiots purposely do stupid stuff to get on tv.

in ways positive but also negative, as it can give them a big head think there above everyone, and never want to 'go back to their old lives' which in cases could have been totally fine. can ruin lives make & make them depressed.

for me, negatively.
it dissappoints me on how america is really too obsessed with being superficial and shallow. i have to turn the channel every 15 seconds during the same show just because i dont want my sisters watching girls fall over guys at bars or guys and girls getting cozy under the covers.

You might as well watch your family,
or go out in the park, or to the mall and sit on a bench and
watch the weirdos do what they do.

It makes its stars rich and famous (or somewhat rich and somewhat infamous) and me sick.
