I just graduated from my school and won't have kiln access anymore. I've been offered space outdoors if I want to build my own kiln. Can anyone give me advice (or plans) for how to build a *small* (room for ~6 medium size vessels would be fine) wood burning kiln?
I currently use grey and red clay (Hy-bond F-97 and Hy-bond F-96) which is glaze fired to cone 6. What temperatures can I expect to reach with a wood kiln, where can I find a stoking procedure, and what clay should I try?

Looking at the size of what I've made in the past, small would be a 3x3' footprint.
