Open communication in a marriage, open enough to really listen with your heart. Making $ isn't everything, but keeping
your priorities straight so that making money isn't number
1. Happiness is what you make out of life. I think if you
are happy inside it will reflect to the world on the outside,
every ones is different. Most of all I think that one's attitude
is so important most of all.

Ok.. I am lucky enough to know a number of folks over 100. The secret is beer, wine and whiskey, never getting diabetes, and saving your money. However, long life is not my goal.
Staying together? I have no clue. My parents have been bickering for as long as I've known them. No clue why they stay together. Co-dependent, I think.
Happiness is a comfy blue plaid robe and bunny slippers and some hot chocolate. Oh. great sex would be good as well.

For long life, an excellent choice of parents. For making money, finding ways to create value. For staying together, having made a good choice in the first instance, and recognizing the basic absurdities that life presents. For happiness, all of the foregoing.

The secret to happiness is peace of mind. If you are at peace with yourself and your surrondings, then you'll be happy.
You do need love.........it could come from children, spouses, your family, siblings. But you need to know you are loved, by someone.
You also need to love someone. Again, your spouse, children, family etc. You also have to love yourself.
I want to meet the person who said, "money does not buy happiness" The are right, it does not buy happiness. It buys peace of mind.....which leads to happiness.
You need money to pay bills and get through life. If you are always worrying about where the rent money is coming from, you are not enjoying life. You are wasting your time.

The only "secret" is to live in each NOW moment, not letting your mind drift into the past or future.

Don't smoke, don't drink, don't do drugs, don't jump out of perfectly good airplanes, don't ride motorcycles or otherwise engage in foolish behavious, including grossly overweight; get your money as fast as you can, but pay as late as possible (without paying penalties); mind your own business.
