At work we received a 1934 $20 that is in very good condition. There is a crease down the middle, but it looks like it may have happened when someone took it from their parents collection (I'm just assuming here).

The bill is from the Cleaveland Ohio Federal Reserve Bank. The serial number is D80515633A.
On the back it has 608 printed just to the right of the White House.
Serues if 1934 C.

I realize paper currency isn't usually worth much more than face value unless it's un-circulated, but I'm sure these notes are getting pretty rare.

The series 1934C has a trends value of $25 in grade fine. Which is about the grade of the one you have. Don't be mislead by the idea currency is not valuable unless in crisp uncirculated. As an example a $20 1950 E star note sells for $200 in grade fine. A trends price is an average of what a note sells for.

1934 A 20 Dollar Bill Value

Interesting find. Well I was looking around on the internet and I found some 1934 $20.00 bills that went for $30.00-$70.00. Although I'm not sure if that is it's current value. You could take it to a coin dealer in your area if you have one I'm sure he could tell you the value. I have some $1.00 bills from the 1930's that are worth around $10.00 each but those are only $1 bills. I would hold on to it for the value may go up in the future .I hope this helps answer you question.

The 1934 is a common date. The bill is worth about $25 and if the bill was crisp (uncirculated) it would be worth about $45.

It has a better value than the face. You should take it to a coin collector and let them appraise it. I dont think a good answer is going to be at hand here.
