I live across from a middle school and in the school is the area's park, and next to it is a church, usually once or twice a week there's cars parked in the church's lot at night. Sometimes cops pull over and check out the church's lot, but recently late at night there's been lots of people parked in the street and going into the park. Should i be concern or am i being paranoid after all you hear some weird thing in the news everyday.

Wow very intersting answers, i asked out of curiousosity i didn't say it was necessarely a bad thing i just said if i should be concerned and stay away from walking in the park at night.

What a pity that today most people see a stroll at the park as a dangerous thing,
Where is the love of nature? the pleasure of contemplating the wonders of the natural world? The trees, the shrubs, flowers, grasses?
All this appears to be forgotten. Very sad indeed.
I walk in the park should be a time of pleasurable relaxation and personal atonement.

Why do people go to the park during the day? Some people like the night time better, yes some may be up to no good , but some people are up to no good during the day as well. You shouldnt be so judgemental ,good , bad , drugs ,and sex happens 24 hrs a day. By the way I like to walk my dog at night. I happen to prefer the nights beauty.

Unfortunately, these days when people are in a park late at night, they are usually either drinking; using, selling, or buying drugs; or using, selling, or buying sex.
I hate to be so negative, because I really wish that being at the park at night could be innocent fun... but it doesn't seem to be that way anymore.

You might be just paranoid or maybe the church is holding som kind of late night service in the park dont worry bout it tho as long as its not right next to ur house

Some people just like to do that. Some go to the cemetery at night. It is usually suspected they are up to something but usually they are just hanging out.

They want some quiet time alone. I guess they don't feel comfortable going in the daytime where people can see.
