Males ONLY really care for females when they are MEN. They become men somewhere around 35.

Females do most of the caring in this life. Haven't you noticed?

They both care in their own way. But it really depends on how much they love each other. Sometimes people think it's all women but men can be sensitive too. Women can be caring as in gentle and if their partner is feeling alright. Men can be caring by protecting their partner and make sure no harm can reach them.

"Women have an eight-lane superhighway for processing emotion, while men have a small country road," she writes. Men, however, "have O'Hare Airport as a hub for processing thoughts about sex, where women have the airfield nearby that lands small and private planes."

We know, for instance, from observations of both humans and nonhumans that males are more aggressive than females, that young males engage in more rough-and-tumble play than females and that females are more nurturing. We also know that in general males are better at a variety of spatial or navigational tasks.

Women have come a long way toward equality over the past 50 years, but the Yale-trained Brizendine, 53, says her research indicates that human brains are still wired for Stone Age necessities.

Women, as a whole, may also be better than men at controlling their emotions. Gur and colleagues at the University of Pennsylvania recently discovered that sections of the brain used to control aggression and anger responses are larger in women than in men.

There are, however, advantages to being the strong, silent type. Dr
Brizendine explains that testosterone also reduces the size of the
section of the brain involved in hearing - allowing men to become "deaf"
to the most logical of arguments put forward by their wives and
girlfriends.

Dr Brizendine says the brain's "sex processor" - the areas responsible
for sexual thoughts - is twice as big as in men than in women, perhaps
explaining why men are stereotyped as having sex on the mind.

Women use their care and nurturing from the
initial stages of a relationship and are more
hopeful that it will last long.

Men and women show "care" differently. Men are more "task" oriented...they'll put washer fluid in your car; clear off the snow from the steps so you don't fall...women are more affectionate and try to help solve problems...very different. It doesn't mean one cares more than the other (in normal relationships, that is).
