My cousin's mom just died, and her and her brother need to get school clothes yet. They are on a tight budget, so can anyone tell me how we can find clothes that are stylish for the upcoming school year, but are not expensive. Can someone help?

Both of them have been growing out of their clothes, so they cannot look in their closet for anything without it being too small.

Neither of them can get their clothes at Wal-Mart, the clothes are too big on them. My cousins gets their jeans from Ross since that is the only place that has jeans to fit in the waist and in the leg.

If Wal-Mart school clothes are too pricey for you, then try the Salvation Army or Good Will stores... You can find some surprisingly decent stuff there. :)

What ever you do is better to get new clothes than used ones, for a variety of reasons. Don't be embarrassed to shop at discount stores, swap mets, and large chain stores like wall mart. Used clothes unless they come from someone you know are not a good idea for health reasons, sure you can wash them but certain materials are prone to trapping mites, dead skin, and secretion fluids. If you know someone who gave the clothes to you, chances are you will know if they have skin diseases, or are individuals that keep clean and change regularly. If you believe you don't have the money to get new clothes talk to a welfare representative and address the concerns that I have told you and I am sure they will be able to help you out with extra money for clothes. Take care and godd luck

Every town usually has some sort of shop where you can get brand names for discount prices. You will always find GREAT sales at JCPenny's. I always do school shopping there. I have never gone a year without saving at least $125 on great clothes. Then for school supplies Wal Mart is usually your best bet.

Oh i'm so sorry about the death :( as for cheap clothes, you sort of have to look around and rummage through salees..forever 21 can be quite good, if you really look through the racks and find nice cheap clothes..for the boy you can look in old navy? i'm sure that they have some very nice clothes that are quite cheap..i bought some shorts from there for my brother for like 10 bucks :) good luck

I am not a big mall shopper but I recently went to JCPenneys and they were having ahuge 70% off sale with an added 10% off that weekend and I got rebock shoes for 5 dollars and there were loads of things on sale, also I would think if you have a steve and barry's go there everything is cheap. but definately check around and look online for local stores online flyers.... jcp.com and maybe see if sears and other mall stores have one too.

I don't know what kind of kids they are, or if they'd be alright with this, but I seriously shop at the thrift store and find crazy awesome stuff all the time. Try a salvation army or goodwill.
