YES! The accuracy percentages listed on the boxed birth control devices only apply to when they are used correctly. EX: when spermicides are left in the vagina for a certain amount of time, like 10 mins. or when condoms are used from the very beginning of any kind of intercourse to the very end, and when birth control pills are taken at the same time every day without skipping any days. When used incorrectly, the accuracy percentages go down drastically.
It is corny but it's true--abstinance is the only 100% safe birth control. Just try to use your head and you should be fine. Best of luck! :)

Yes. Even abstinence failed once.
I got pregnant on the pill 30 years ago when the hormone levels were much higher than today. And last year my daughter got pregnant on the pill and had an adorable baby boy in December.
Some of the newer super low hormone pills are being looked at because they claim to be 99% effective and anecdotal evidence shows they may not be.

yes... no birth control works 100%....
they teach you this in like... 7th grade. How old are you?!
I know many, many people that got pregnant when they were on the pill, took it every day, at the same time, like the doctor told them to. It's only 99.7% effective... so if you think... 3 out of 1000 times you're going to get pregnant pretty much.
Pretend maybe you have sex... 3 times a week... 52 weeks in a year... technically after about 3 years at least one person would get pregnant...
then think about how many women are on it. Millions. so... 3 out of every 1000 times, with millions of women. That's thousands and thousands of birth control babies.

Yes. To up your chances of preventing pregnancy, you can use a couple of different types of contraceptives. Like, since you're taking birth control, have your partner wear a condom at the same time.

Yes you can. Condoms can break or leak, diaphragms may not catch and kill all of the sperm, and even birth control pills are not 100% effective. If you smoke or take certain medications, the pill's effectiveness is reduced.
The only 100% guaranteed method for avoiding pregnancy is avoiding vaginal intercourse.

"i understand a woman..." would not recommend something, as by definition, information won't be able to be surmised from a man or woman case. 2. some could argue that the to blame factor to do, in case you probably did no longer use risk-free practices, could be to have the abortion. That way, a baby isn't born into the international in poverty, probably to kill, be killed, rape, be raped, be killed in a gang conflict, or be accompanied into the main abusive foster care application interior the international to relish an entire life of sexual molestation and actual abuse. 3. How is having an abortion no longer coping with the outcomes? Is it frivolous to you to % to preserve teenagers you have already got or proceed your training? i assume you does no longer care nevertheless, in spite of everything, those honestly everyone seems to be already born. 4. A blob of cells isn't a baby, and your implication that it quite is such is irrational and offensive to those individuals with babies. 5. So... using fact your being pregnant got here approximately under favorable circumstances and you had to proceed it, all women individuals ought to be compelled to proceed a being pregnant against their will? Ah, the muddled techniques of the anti-choicer.

The most effective form of birth control, oral contraceptives are about 99.5% eeffective. Sterilization is a little higher (yes, it sometimes fails!) and abstinence has the highest rate of all.

Some women with low progesterone levels before they begin taking BC pill, find that the BC pill actually increases their progesterone just enough so they ovulate and concieve.
Kinda reverse desired affect, but it happens.
