ebay and amazon are e-com sites so yes, there are similar ones... millions of em. craigslist is imo the best of its class, if you like highly active classifieds in a relatively commercial free enviroment.

Half.com
By the way, I know a way to get money back anytime you or someone you refer buys something from Ebay or over 120 popular online stores. For Ebay, you get a percentage of the seller's fees. If you want more information, then send me an email.

For what type of stuff? For computer/electronic stuff there's cdw.com, jr.com, tigerdirect.com and newegg.com.
Also take a look at woot.com
For auctions you could try Yahoo! auctions, which is auctions.yahoo.com - and of course shopping.yahoo.com
For used stuff you can't beat Ebay and craigslist

http://www.kijiji.com is a brand new site. Somehow a spin off of ebay I heard. I am not sure how, but you can post for free that I do know.
