I haven't seen anything yet but this Christmas I will be sunning myself in Jamaica.....So I'm not bothered.

I love Christmas! It's the most magical time of the year... but not in August! The sun is still out, I have the start of school to get through, then Halloween, Bonfire Night and then it's time for Christmas. I'd be lying if I hadn't said that I haven't been thinking about the magical season because I do get excited early but I'm still saving my money. I like going Christmas shopping when town is full of Christmas lights and big Christmas trees. So as much as I like Christmas... I like it in December!

One thing I notice, when I'm down south, is that they don't seem to acknowledge Halloween in the stores at all! They set up early for X-mas. Weird. It's a fun Holiday about scaring the Devil away, not inviting him in. Some people take things too seriously! Even Jesus will give a little kid candy on Halloween. They're so damn cute!

What? I better not see any x-mas items on sell now. I'm not over summer birthdays and school clothes yet. Then I've got to prepare myself for Halloween and Thanks Giving first, although I could use some of the chill that comes with x-mas. It's 95 degrees here today and I'm melting.

Gee- everyone knows it isn't Christmas 'til Santa Claus arrives at Macy's.......seems the longer they extend the season, the worse the sales volume. Time to stop the greed! Being from NY originally, I find it is against my "religion" to shop for Christmas before the Macy's parade...

No way! That's just tacky. I would prefer they put out Halloween in October, Thanksgiving stuff in early November, and Christmas items in mid to late November. Otherwise it's not at all magical for me, it's just stuff because we're not ready yet. Tacky.

I have recieved two Christmas Card offers through the mail already. Maybe they are trying to get rid of last years stuff before November.

Actually, I was in Hobby Lobby last week. They had Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas all displayed. I guess by Thanksgiving, they will be hawking Valentine's Day and Mothers' Day.

WOW!! That must set an alltime record...I thought there was some sort of unwritten rule that Christmas crap had to wait until after Halloween?!
What IS this world coming to?
