Pray God shes not! Your working people will be royally f*cked if she is.
Thatcher made life pretty grim for the working class in the UK.
She did her best to dismantle all the Socialist apparatus that Bevan and his ilk had put in place to protect the poorest from destitution.
She sold off Council Housing, privatised everything, destroyed the Trades Unions, closed God knows how many pits and destroyed our heavy industries leaving thousands unemployed, left us with galloping inflation and all its side effects (mortgage repossessions, bankruptcies, businesses going bust), led us into a recession and did her best to destroy the NHS. Presumably in the hope that she could "kill off" the excess working class population with homelessness and poverty.
From what I read about Hillary though, she wants to actually help the poor in America by introducing Socialised Healthcare, therefore making her as different to that old hag Thatcher as chalk from cheese.

No Hillary Clinton is not in the same league as Margaret Thatcher, either intellectually or politically, she's in the kindergarten by comparison.

God Almighty!! Keep your fingers crossed she isn't. Otherwise the US will have a major problem if she gets elected.
The UK will never recover from the Thatcher legacy - Millions unemployed, Closure of most of our heavy industry, Thousands of home repossessions, Poll Tax, Galloping inflation. There are people in this country still paying the price for her premiership.
People will say "remember the Falklands". Yes I do - I was there. What they forget to mention is that she was warned about the Argies intentions 6 months before the invasion but ignored the advice!!

Maggie was a one off. She had more balls than the combined number carried by her cabinet. She made this country great again, only for it to be pulled down by her successors in the Conservative government and then the Labour party, who are far too left of centre for the benefit of the backbone of this country.
Hillary Clinton (Hilary?) has done very little to emulate Maggie so far. So no true comparison can be made yet. Who knows, she is showing spirit and making the right noises, so maybe time will tell.

Hilary Clinton can't be compared to Margaret Thatcher - she isn't lady enough.
She would need principles and a backbone.

I hope not. Thatcher ruined so much in the country. The NHS got worse under her, year on year on year. Look at the mining communities around the UK, there are hardly any, and now we have to import coal from abroad.
When Thatcher dies, there will be many making a pilgrimage to her grave. To dance on it.
