Something to shoot for.

75-year old Swede has recently got a 40 Gbps internet connection directly to her home

Upon hearing online rumors about SureWest's 50-meg launch, the 24-year-old Web designer gave SureWest a call to upgrade his previous service, which was the company's synchronous 20-meg Internet product. Husman was installed last month and now his speed tests repeatedly surpass 50 Mbps both up and down stream.

Well it really depends on how much you are willing to pay for fast internet connection. The best is always the highest. We had Road Runner and it was awesome but now we have Bright House which is ok but i would much prefer Road Runner. Just remeber sometimes you have to put out a pretty penny for the best.

I had SBC GLOBAL but now I have cable, it is faster and you do not have to connect to the Internet the minute you turn you computer on you are connected, bu it cost more than sbc global.

Internet 2
9gb/s

Alot depends on how you use the Internet. Cable modems typically have really good download speeds, but upload is not as good as a T1 or DSL.

T3 is the fastest. But this is designed for business corporations to split amongst their many users. If you don't mind paying over $1000, get T3.
FYI, it's att&t now, not sbc.
People PC is dial up. you can get dial up for free now. o_O

T1...I LOVE it!!!! The company that I work for, provides me with it free...Mr. Micro net...only the workers and owners can get it. If you had dsl to start w/, why did you switch back to dial-up??
