Why mess your life with morbid thoughts ? Whether life is short or long, no one knows, so why wast the moments you have... spend the time with the family, the loved ones and get the most of life.
Everyone will go one day and when someone you love goes before you, you will have the pleasure of the memories of the happy moments you saved instead of wasting them thinking about the worst.
Besides, why think bad stuff about the people you love.
Hey, go see them right now and give them a hug. A hug of love !!

I live life alone, and I don't know why. Anytime I'm with people, I always make them laugh and brighten their day, but none of them think of calling me up for a fun time. No, they invite the ******* and hypocrites. It's not because I'm strange. On the contrary, I'm one of the most down-to-Earth humor-loving people you can know. In fact, I'm listening to Chappelle right now. My family is torn apart, and they are too negative, so in this case it's better to be alone. Only positive one is my dad, but he sleeps his life away. I'm not looking for sympathy for I try to better my life everyday and am slowly doing it. I'm just being honest. I have been coping for 4 years now. As starnge as it sounds, I'm really optimistic. It's the Sagittarius in me.

Four family deaths within nine years: mom, dad, brother, youngest daughter, plus divorced after 23 years. I can't describe my feelings. Words don't do them justice. My solace is knowing I WILL see them again. It isn't over, it's just an intermission. The next time I see them will be perfect, no pain, no suffering, no worries, and it will last forever! Friends, other family members, trying to get involved in other things, faith. Faith in God and His promises to us is what has the ability to cope.

I'm rather young compared to you but I love my cat dearly and I too wonder how people live without the pleasure of waking upto a cat rubbing against you affectionately. I suppose all the lonely people would be even lonelier. :/ I too pity those who are allergic to these majestic balls of fur. Haha but I suppose humans would learn to deal without cats.

Yes, I do, and the minute that happens I'm moving to Rome.
If that happens, you just cope. Life is like that sometimes.

Well, picture it, because many times it will come about, and to good people, especially if we wage two wars at the same time and make lots of enemies... Ask Cindy Sheehan.
