I know what love feels like, because I can imagine it (don't ask why because I KNOW it sounds weird..just a feeling) but I have never loved anything, ever. I would never die for anything. I just realized I don't love God (that's the truth, I try to love God but I can't) and it occurred to me that the strongest things I like are just books. What is wrong with me?

This is the best part of you. That you read books and that you have a poise and that you are sedate. In this mental equilibrium you are bound to find solace.Don't stoop for anything that does not come by easily. You have my love.

Or, you have created a fantasy for yourself about what a common human feeling of affection is and how that would look.

It's likely you have been fed a lot of social beliefs about what love is which has nothing to do with reality.

You? Nothing is wrong with you. The social beliefs are the source of your suffering.

Love is a feeling that we have for another. A like, an intense like. Commitment is a decision to have a particular type of relationship with a person. Love and committment are not the same thing.

Are you young, say perhaps a teenager? That is a typical way for many to feel in their mid-teens is why I ask. Yet, a good councilor would be able to work with you to discover why you feel that you've never loved. Go to one that can test you for an associative disorder and medicate, if needed.

And who said you had to love a god-figure? Being a bookworm, I find nothing wrong with liking books.

so what is that feeling when you like books, it will never be like only because you said it is the strongest thing that you like. But love can come into different ways. You just never realized it.

first of all, we've all loved someone or something. for anyone who feels they haven't -- that's because love is subjective. what some people consider to be love, i might contradict. redefine what love means to you, and you'll find something you love.

second, not loving God is fine, as long as you're respectful. we say people can't be forced to fall in love, loving God is no exception.

remember, love's a really vague concept, and your definition of it will probably keep changing. its natural, don't worry.

Nuttin' wrong wit u.

Just depends on how old you are. If you're young, you got plenty of time to fall in love with something or someone. Give science a chance, it shows you the truth about alot of things.

As for me, I love hairy moles. Don't know why.

That and butt pimples. I love popping my butt pimples.

There was no misunderstanding. He said something that was bound to upset her. Then he tried to use semantics--people don't like that and get more upset. He needs to simply admit that he said something lame and obnoxious and he's sorry.

Don't be so hard on yourself. Its not always for you to love. Sometimes, its for God to love you...

Love is not a duty or an obligation. Love is love.

When I see human suffering first hand, it really affects my view on life and love.
