This was the year I took my GCSEs and met my first older boyf - I remember that AAACCCCCCIIIIIIIDDDDDD song was driving everyone mad and the first rave songs were infiltrating the clubs!!!

Luckily, this tragedy of a decade was coming to an end and the nineties were beckoning, thank god.........I am embarrassed to say that I remember the 80's and am only saved by the fact that when I did start going out clubbing etc it was in the 90s!

I graduated from high school in 1989. I remember that my mom was on the way to the ceremonies and someone ran her and my sister off the road. The jerk didn't stop, and they missed my graduation. I remember that Def Leppard and Whitesnake had the coolest concerts ever, and that Noland Road in Independence, Missouri was the coolest place to cruise. I remember going to Washington D.C. on a band trip that summer, and someone flipping our bus driver off, and eating breakfast at a Bob Evans in Indiana somewhere. How's that?
