I mean, do you think it is a coincidence that there just happens to be all these "terrorists" living in US-backed dictatorships that sell us cheap oil?

William T, why don't YOU look back before 1990 and tell us when these "violent people" ever attacked America? The answer is: they never did, until we supported the dictators that suppress them and effectively steal their oil.

Whistlin' Willie, you are very ignorant of world affairs. India is occupying Muslim Kasmir and refusing a democratic vote on its future. Spain was part of the illegal invasion of Iraq. It is not condoning terrorism to point out that it has a cause.

It's a reasonable conclusion. After all, there are no recorded instances of Islamist-backed terrorism targeting the West before the US started supporting "puppet regimes" in the Mid-East.

We get maximum of our oil from South united statesa., and North united statesa.. Europe and Asia get maximum of their oil (approximately seventy 5%) from the middle East. although, by using limiting the provision in that way, they'd force up the fees in Europe and Asia to make up the style, and that could trickle down into the fee of things produced in Europa and Asia (alongside with China), since we are working in a commerce deficit (We Import extra effective than we export) it would propose greater expenditures for those products that we purchase. yet besides, regardless of our Imperialism, the middle East Oil producing countries are capitalists, and regardless of what you study or say approximately "Islamic based countries" all of them worship the "All amazing greenback" the comparable as we do.

Finally! Someone with a bit of sense. Yes! Yes! Yes!
These people are retaliating!

Retaliating: To repay an injury, wrong, etc in kind; to get revenge. A counterstroke, retribution, revenge, vengeance, reciprocation, requital, repayment, counterblow, reprisal, retort.

America has, as usual gone at this Middle East thing with all the thought and wisdom of a school yard bully and has dragged the entire Western World with it. It went against the advice of the UN and thumbed its nose at its allies that critisised this action in Iraq. Now the whole thing is blowing up in their faces (literally).

For years other countries have seen where the US foreign policy in relation to Israel and its unequivocal support of the obscene actions of Israel against the Palestinian people would lead, but no notice or action was taken because the US wants the oil and the US fundalmentalist Christians, who advise GW, believe that the Book of Revelations is being played out in the Middle East as we speak and all this turmoil and killing is divinely ordained!

Make no mistake - Terrorists are MADE. And we have helped to make them!

They are not some evil alein species who suddenly appear. Whether some people admit it or not - they are human beings - like you and me. And if we were put in their position or if we were subjected to the same injustices and atrocities they have been dealt we cannot say we would not do the same thing.

If we are to "fight" terrorism we first need to understand where this tactic originates and acknowledge our role in creating it. Then with understanding and intelligence, do something constructive about it. If we continue to falsely and ignorantly claim that it is simply because they are jealous or that they follow another religion then we will never, ever have peace in this world again.

Yes.

Also, these 'terrorists' just want the west to stay out of their business. Since Palestine was handed to the Zionists on a silver platter, and the Palestinians felt that the world didn't give a rats a** about the way they were treated in their own land, we have had young men who feel that they had nothing to lose.

They are not in the least bit 'jealous' of the US. They have their own rich culture and history, why would they want to be obese and addicted to drugs and alcohol?

I truly know that Arabs and Muslims doubt 'hate' Americans. It's the government that we chose, that we allow to commit these 'wars' and genocide in Palestine that they hate.

It's not just American imperialism. It started with British imperialism in the 19th & early 20 Centuries and then they handed the empire in the Mideast to the US/Israel. It's all about oil & the holy land/Jerusalem and the Islamists feel that they got the short end of the stick on all that stuff & now they are unfortunately fighting back hard.

Broham, we are there because we discovered oil which we all need for our wretched and wicked lifestyles.
Otherwise they would be nomads scratching at the desert without a pot to piss in and no-one would give a ratsass about them!
When you can figure a way for a better energy source let us all know. Otherwise the rest of us need it for transportation and heating fuel. Our electricity is generated by oil plants.
Or do you prefer coal, with men dying in mines. Nuclear? No, no good? Than what?

Yes, Longhaired Person. And it's called "the chickens coming home to roost".
People can and will only be subjugated for so long before they start fighting back, and the biggest difference between "insurgents" and "armies" is that one wears a uniform.

So when Islamic Terrorism started in the middle ages it was caused by American Imperialism, or is this just their latest excuse for killing non-Muslims?

Perhaps you should go back further than 1990 in history. Islamic extremism is not something we invented or propped up, it is something that has been around long before oil was found in the Middle East. It just so happens the one place on earth with the easiest oil to get is the same place these extremists have to live under dictatorships. They are fueled by their own governments to hate the west and western values, so they don't look around at how really good we have it, and therefore demand for themselves their own god-given rights that they themselves do not really have. They are being manipulated to hate us, so they won't turn on their own regimes of power.
