Thanks to Bush arming the Sunni Death Squads, Anbar Province is quieting down. Oh, they are not part of the surge are they?

The answer to all your questions: NO---There are those who think all is well in Iraq, but there are those who remain with the sinking ship. man this ship is sinking fast. Food for thought, If we can't train the Iraqi army, yet send our own into battle half trained, well, there is something seriously wrong with this picture.

Go find someone who has been there. Not someone trying to be the next John Kerry. Someone who is out now and pursuing civilian life. Ask him or her.

I talked to a lot of folks up around Mosul early on. The difference between their reports and those of the Communist News Network were pretty interesting.

There is some progress. Areas which used to be insurgent territory no longer are. As for the last question on your list, which is really the only relevant one, the answer is clear: Saddam is dead, and the Iraqis and the rest of the world are the better for it.

It's actually showing progress. Things are great in the north also (Kurdish region). It's going to take time but we will win the battles of the hearts and minds. Don't stress yourself out thinking about it too much of the time. These things are very complex.

considering all the help Al Queda has had with in our borders with the elected Democrats and the main stream press, plus the help From Iran, the fact the surge is making progress is remarkable, especially since the MSP can't bring itself to report it accurately.

You need a high-level clearance to ask questions like those - and a higher one to get the answers. But no matter how high your clearance is, you won't get the truth from our government - it's not the job of government to tell the truth to the citizenry. They're too busy siphoning off funds to be bothered with annoying questions from peons. The important thing is to believe General Petraeus' report is 100% factual and beyond question - even before it's published. Patriotic Americans don't express doubts when it comes to the security of our nation - they obey. Obedience is next to Godliness, and Godliness is next to Bushliness. I forget what Bushliness is next to, but it's probably classified as well...

I know you want the terrorists to win the war, but you don't have to be so obvious about it. You probably pop a ***** every time an American soldier dies in the hopes that another Socialist wack-job Democrat gets voted into office.

The liberals greatest fear right now is that the U.S.A. might win this war. They are willing to see us lose the war if it will benefit the Democrat party.

The man in charge of the surge is the man responsible for not keeping track of the weapons that were given to Iraq.

How do you expect the surge to be going with such brilliant leadership?
