North Las Vegas IS a separate city and it IS developed, although it runs right together with LV. The older section is a little rundown and has a fairly high crime rate, but they are developing way far north and a lot of new homes, condos and shopping is going in

Anything north of Fremont Street is considered North Las Vegas. They pretty much are two different cities because the big corprations that run the strip have not developed that location.

North Las Vegas is cheaper. It's older and has all the original casinos.

Las Vegas has all the newer casinos, and has majority of all the tourists.
