Lets say it is 10:00 PM on Friday and you get into the time machine and travel back to 10:00 PM Wednesday, wouldn't you end up appearing in space somewhere due to the movement of the planets around the sun?

Firstly, thats a cool question!
I believe you are indeed right -(if you subscribe to the space/time continuum theory) because if one was to bend the contiuum, then you would end up in the past/future according to the axis. Heres how I see it:
Imagine you are hardcore, and can throw a baseball a few hundred kms above the earths surface, - for the purposes of the experiment - lets say that the ball is not burnt up, and that gravity is equal on the whole trip and there is no wind/etc resisitance...
When the ball does return to the ground - it surely hits a different spot, for the world has rotated around somewhat.
((I know that this is a poor example because of the magnetic/atmospheric laws contradict this experiment, but time travel would require to break even more laws of physics than these..))
So yeah - you are right, unless - they use another theory to make time travel happen, or if they can further bend space in the space/time continuuum.
Deep thinking dude!

first of all, wel come to india! in fact i could prefer one to choose a number of of subjects till now making plans a visit to an countless us of a including India. For travelling you have selection of seashores(then pass to South India), or hill station(then pass to north India). South India isn't good whilst you're a food lover. For non secular or historic excursion, do pass to north. you additionally can think of of far east or Manali if interested in Buddhism. North has Rajputana, british and mogal background to work out. Your excursion time has maximum friendly climate virtually everywhere, so in basic terms come over. For any micro info you're wel come mail me.

If you are willing to believe that you can use a time machine, you should be willing to believe that you can occupy the same space with respect to the earth in the entire time journey.

As long as you're imagining magical time machines, you might as well imagine a magical time machine that puts you in the spot in space that you want to be too.

Hahahaha yes you would, unless your time machine takes into account the orbit and revolution of the Earth.

In dealing with time, reference frames are required. So, the reference frame that you reside in will be different from those around you. That is the difference you are noticing.
