Wow, so many people hate Metallica... What did they ever do to you? I guarantee they're better musicians than ANY modern band, and they have more awesome songs than most bands do. And they didn't "Sell Out." They just started playing different stuff. None of it is "awesome," but most of it is cool in its own right. And I suppose most of you are angry about the whole Napster thing. Well, SOMEONE had to step up and sue them. If Metallica hadn't put their foot down, there would be NO music anymore, because bands wouldn't be able to afford to play, and so everyone would quit. So basically, Metallica does rule, but no one is intelligent enough to realize how blind they are to it all...

What, may I ask, is so important about that question?
A music group does not rule, they only play and sing, although I do question the singing part for Metallica. A person wants to hear a melodic voice mixed with, backed up by and enhancing the sounds produced by an instrument for a song, in my way of thinking.
Listen to Randy Travis for a fine voice.

I have a high respect for Metallica. I loved them and all their music during my teen years and even in my twenties. I was always blasting their music. I stopped listening after Jason left. I don't know too many of their new stuff but I still listen to their old stuff. I saw them twice and they are excellent live!
