First off: our experiences won't work for your essay. This is supposed to be a personal story, not a plagiarized paper.

Second: don't spell like that in your essay, unless you ant it to be about the time "I didn't use SpellCheck yet again..."

Now on to your question...

What I would do: Think about who you are. What kind of person are you? Are you gruff or kind, dynamic or calm?

Then, think about all the big experiences you've had in life. Trips, getting a new pet or sibling, a death, everything counts!

Then, try to link together an event with a characteristic about who you are. For example, the death of your grandma might have made you more caring. Or your trip to Europe made you more open to others.

Then write your essay. Start with a strong lead, describing the event you are talking about. For example:

The city of xxx boasts over 18 different nationalities, speaking over 10 languages. So on and so forth, write your essay.

Then, write about how it (in this case, a trip to Europe) made you YOU.

For your conclusion, do something like this:

I have found myself ot be open, and non-judgemental. Blah blah blah.

That's it!!!

*Tip: I know that the question says to pick some big event in your life, but try to think of a small event that became big only because it changed who you are. I interviewed a college admissions person who said that doing that is GREAT!

End it with

I think the essay question wants explained a day in your life that changed your life or attitude about yourself or the human race. Think of the day you might have been killed in a car wreck or the opposite situation where you helped someone in a store or in the neighborhood find something lost when you could have been on time to school or event. Did you win first prize at something? A test, county fair, art, are just an example. Think of the people in the news that are famous and what was the situation that brought them into the news? Winning an election is a significant experience that now defines that person. The person that returned a bag of stolen money to the bank has now been defined.
A simple thing like seeing the most amazing rainbow could be your defining moment.

It is asking a very simple question, Okay let me give you an example of my mother.
My mother was born in a very poor family. She had 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Her dad passed away when she wa only 5 years old. She saw a lot of poverty while growing up. Her mother advised her ," don't look at what others have, think what you can have tomorrow." "Work hard today and you will have everything." So my mom studied a lot and went as far as getting her Masters in Political Science. So did her brothers and sisters.
Now she is very conservative. She doesn't spend money on the things she doesn't need. Means she is very careful of her money. She raised me to give importance to study.
So her experience as a child with poverty, advice from her mother shaped her personality.

I don't trust people so easily because I have had friends who broke my trust many times, so this is an example too.

Has anything happened that challenged, or changed you? For some people these events could be like the death of a loved one, the first time they learned how to ride a bike (or whatever), conquering some kind of fear....

Also, you can ask yourself: what do i think of when i think of me? (if that makes any sense). What is your identity? are you someone's child? What clubs are you in/what hobbies do you enjoy?

Just brainstorm a little. It's a challenging essay question--good luck!

IBasically it is asking you what events helped turn you into who you are today. For Example: When my friend Amanda was little she almost drown, so now she's afraid of water,so she might write about that. OR When I was little I got bit by a spider so now I'm terrified. (not really it's just an example) if you still need help, email me gizmo_03_11@yahoo.com or message me on myspace, just search for my email! I hope I helped GOOD LUCK!!! :D

What is something that you did or a situation you were in that really had deep meaning for you? Like, made you think about something in a different way, or caused you to change your life, personality or just made a huge difference to you.

i dont think anyone can really give you advice about what to write, usually when questions like this are asked, they want an answer from the heart, say something about something that really stands out to you that made you who you are today, like for me it would be football, going to practice, making me a more disciplined individual and everything. just something that you love, that has made a change in your life.

For example, I never considered myself to be a smart student in high school, even though I got good grades I never believed in myself, when I hit college I was able to look back and see how far I had come and that gave me drive to finish and encouraged me to do well in my studies.
