I did. Henry Aaron went through the same thing when he was approaching Babe Ruth's record. Everyone hated him at that time too. Bonds was hated for another reason, but still he was a hated player and if someone ever breaks his record that player will be hated. The main reason I wanted to see him break it is because we haven't had anything real historical in baseball happen for awhile. Another thing is that I don't have to listen to ESPN talk about Barry and approaching the record and how he's not swinging the bat right, how he is 0-43 on days he has Cornflakes for breakfast, blah blah blah on and on.

I did but i think it was total bull that a mets fan caught when the mets werent even playing even then a giants fan should get a home run ball if it is worth up to 500k when bonds hit it. Serves him right to get a broken jaw in the fight though.

not me at all...
i watch a baseball game with my dad he always tells me that hank aaron was the home run king...
now that barry broke it the record is destroyed spoiled...
to me hank aaron will always be the homerun king...
atleast he broke it in san fransico because if we wouldve broken it somewhere else no one would care...
wait until a.rod or ken griffey jr. break the record...
the whole world will be cheering

I didn't. Bonds is not only a cheater, he's an arrogant ***hole. He has no class and he's a horrible role model. I find it hard to believe that people can support someone like him...

Yes because he deserved it. The whole steroids thing is nothing. He would gotten it anyways. If you look at his stats, they resemble Hank Aarons, so its not like the roids gave him superhuman powers.

I was hoping that he would have a heart attack or stroke before he broke the record.
