Approximately $70 - $100 per hour. Some acupuncturists will give discounts for cash. More and more insurance companies are also recognizing acupuncture and alternative medicine and will sometimes pay for the visit. Be sure to review your health insurance policy.

You can also look for a local acupuncture school and they will usually give treatments at a discounted price.

I think I paid $55 about 12 years ago in a suburb of Washington, D.C.

I'm so lucky now...it's unbelievable, but in Panama City, Florida, there is an M.D. who makes house calls, yet she only charges $35 for an acupuncture treatment! She even hooks up some of the needles to an electronic device to potentiate the treatment.

Other acupuncturists in Panama City charge $60.

Good luck and be well.

Usually anywhere from 70-100/visit. However, insurance agencies are starting to notice the benefits of acupuncture so they may actually cover some of the cost. I would check with them, it might be nice to have a few extra dollars in your pocket.

Wow you guys are paying a lot, but there are lots of acupuncture places here in LA so maybe that's why it's cheaper. Here it about $45 a session, but I go to a school where it's $20. The teachers usually treat me, I find they are very good.

I went through two sessions for $200. It was an hour long each, plus the 30-45 minutes evaluation. But it was worth it. The relaxed state I was in after the treatments was unbelievable.

Where I go, the first visit is $90. After that the price is $60 per session. Slightly lower prices for students.
