It's both of your faults, because even if she doesn't suggest birth control, you should be responsible enough to remind her if you don't want to get her pregnant. Likewise, if she doesn't remind you to wear condoms. Both of you should be conscious of having safe sex. When she becomes pregnant, the worst question you could ask her is "Why didn't you use protection?" You can't ask her that because you were responsible for it too. Why didn't you think of it at the time?
So, wear condoms, have her take birth control, get checked for STD's and AIDS and know what you're getting into. Sex is a big responsiblity and it shouldn't be taken lightly.

you do have to be there for the girl to get pregnant, but the girl is the one with the last say. If she wants to take the chance, you also are taking the same chance, only she can't walk away if it doesn't turn out like she thought. Men are responsible, however they don't always do the right thing. If you don't plan on being responsible if the girl gets pregnant, you shouldn't be having sex.

Lets face this fact without the male sperm, No female can get pregnant... And you had to make the decision to go all the way with her and if you did not want her pregnant then it was your job to make sure that she was using the proper gear to prevent her from getting pregnant.... You did not and now you want to blame here for your mis-judgment.... The girl deserve some blame for just not saying no to a person like you.... But 90% of the blame is on you... So take the responsible for your action and take care of her and your child... Period... The End......................................................

Ever hear the expression "it takes two to tango" - you're both responsible. At the very least, both partners need to make sure protection is being used. These days, with all the STD's out there- you need more than birth control pills/the injection/etc. You need to make sure there's at least protection of the latex variety.

It's BOTH their faults - it takes two to tango, or to make a baby.
If he doesn't want to be a father, he needs to wear a condom, REGARDLESS of whether or not she is on birth control or whatever. The only way for him to be sure is for HIM to take responsibility for his own actions.

It depends upon the situation. If it was an irresponsible guy, then he is no use to her anyway. If he was a responsible guy, then it never would have happened would it?
In situations like this, the important thing is not the mother, or the father, but the child, that needs responsible parents. The matter is not a contest to see who is to blame and who is not.In the end the child will decide if his father was responsible or not.

The female condom might be said to be labor intensive. The estrogene in pills can cause all kinds of health problems. The condom has no such negatives......unless you want no responsibility in the first place.

It still takes 2 to tango. Both are responsible for the outcome of irresponsible behavior.
