I think he is to hard headed, he seems to not listen to his advisers enough and when he feels a course of action is the right one he just takes it. He is not as good at working both sides of the political isle either. I think he is a good person and means well and does try to do what he feels is best. The thing is when you are in a job like that one needs to seek and take council from a wide variety of people and keep an open mind before you make a decision. I also do not like the idea of just giving amnesty to illegal immigrants. I do not care who they are Mexican, Asian, or European. I did vote for him twice but I considered him the lesser of 2 evils and still do. While he may not be the best or even one of the best presidents he is better than who he was running against.

Here is what we've come to: A President blinded by power and privilege, oblivious to the devastation toward which he is pushing America and the world. An International corporate culture run amok, freed from restraints in every area from pollution control to health and safety standards to merciless price-gouging, even as the abuses slip quietly from the attention of corporate owned media. An economy trumpeted as "blooming" even while hundreds of thousands lose their jobs, slip into poverty, are left without homes or health care or enough to eat. A "Patriot Act" that makes all of us traitors if we speak out in any way the Washington thought militia deems threatening. Warrantless Wiretapping, Systemic Torture. Abuse of Detainees, Cherry-Picking Intelligence, Muzzling Truth tellers, Shredding our Constitution.

Don't take the pole, somebody might have to poke a bear. Consider taking a poll.

George W. Bush is the smartest president so far! He has fought for freedom and Christianity while hiding under the skirts of women. He has a big yellow streak...(I mean racing strip) down his back. I for one am relieved that he is our president because as long as he is chauffered in the presidential limo he will not get in any trouble while on alcohol or drugs being behind the steering wheel. His daughters can usually hold their liquor and as they become pregnant they will help to bring this country together as well.

He is a much less than stellar President, but he was better than either of both the alternatives would have been.
Do reasons really matter? His stance on llegal immigration, his refusal to admit when he is wrong (on pronunciation of the word "nuclear" for example). His one foot in Iraq, the other in pacifying libs by not deploying enough to do the job.

George Bush is the instigator of the most foolhardy illegal police-action/occupation in U.S. history.
He is a liar. He is beholden to oil companies and Haliburton.
He is a puppet being controlled by **** Cheney.
I think he should be bit ch-slapped and then impeached, and then bit ch-slapped again.

He is my President! I am an American Citizen and US men and women are dying to protect our way of life!
You want to debate how good he is! Do it after every man and women is safe on US SOIL!
Other than that! Stand on the line of support for our Nations Leaders! Or pick up a gun and FIGHT!

I love reading younger users thoughts on GW...very very few of them are brave enough to make their own decisions and are merely parroting what they heard someone else say...and usually one of their schoolmates who did the same thing.
President Bush was handed a tough situation and has done the very best he can with it. Not one of the people complaining has ever held even a county govn position and is not qualified to even judge someone of his capacity. Do you know that 84% of those that "HATE BUSH" on Yahoo are kids in highschool that didnt even vote? How lame is that, they are just repeating what their classmates told them.
Next time you get ready to say something about President Bush, I suggest you stop and think this very thought: how did I arrive at my feelings about him? Chances are, its not even your own thoughts, you are just being a parrot for the masses.
Learn to think for yourselves. Try it, its fun!
