bad ideal however in the big picture they do tend to last where those who get to pick who they marry tend to not last. Still i value freedom of choice.

In my opinion, prearranged marriages are not acceptable because what they do is they take away the true meaning of what marriage is all about. Marriage is a holy, sacred covenant that the man upstairs ordained so that a man and a woman can who were made for each other can join in wedlock. Prearranging marriages is bad because not only does it not give men & women to see what marriage is all about, but it also strips them of their dignity, and self-worth to know and understand what the holy bible has to say about marriage. The bible says "What God has joined together, let no man put asunder." God did not create prearranged marriages like most countries in the world have done, he has created marriage for men & women who, in his eye, belong together. Prearranged marriages ought to be a definite no no on every human beings list.

I don't like it, you have learn to love your partner after marriage. I couldn't, What if you realise that you don't like the person after marriage? There's always more than two people in the marriage because the families marry as well.

It depends what you want. Make your own choice and the success rate is no better than 50-50 ... let your parents choose and the success rate is actually about 80-90% ... but then you don't marry who you want ...
