yes ive heard about.
i heard a rockefeller is involved. it sounds really stupid to become one country when america fought so hard for its freedom from britain. why would we go and give up our independence? oh yeah, its all about the money and the higher echelon benefiting. i forgot.

Yeah, I've heard of this in the past.
While having goods go across the borders faster is one thing, combining the countries into a EU-type idea, or a single country, is another matter completely.
I read that article I can say in all honesty that Canadians would never go for it, so people don't need to be afraid of a EU-style system being adopted in North America anytime soon :] There's no way Canadians would join a singular political entity with the USA. Our stance on several issues is too different from the American stance.

Sigh. Do always believe everything you read? I don't. Neither Canada, the US nor Mexico would ever agree to join as one country or nation. Could someday we come together in a form of an economic union, such as the EU? Perhaps, but all the bugs would have to be worked out first.
