Not really scary but kind of spooky.

I think it is Nightmare City but I am a big chicken when it comes to scary movies. The scary part of The Exorcist is the religious part of it and the fact it is a true story based on the case of a boy in St. Louis. Google it and see what you think. Keep the lights on and the doors locked and wear a garlic necklace!!

It scared the hell out of me. There's something about demonic possession (whether you believe in it or not) that is scarier than the usual horror movie.
Another one along the same lines as The Exorcist that is scary like that is The Amityville Horror.
Scary stuff.

Very scary, the orginial one. Not Exorcist 2 or 3 or well I don't know how many there are. Still scares me when I watch it as an adult!

Not very scary, on a scale of 1 to 10, I would say 4.
I have seen better and much scarier movies since then...

By todays standards - not very. I saw the rerelease in the theaters and I thought how scary it was when I was younger and it was really very mild compared to some of the other movies out there these days!

Scary as h*ll... Simply because unlike most scary movies this is in the realm of possibility.

One of the scariest! And I don't even believe in demonic possesion!
The original Omen was maybe the creepiest movie ever made. It was nowhere near as graphic as many of today's horror movies, but it was very scary.

It was scary when the movie came out. It seems to have lost a lot of its "scariness".We have become inured to things that are supposed to scare us.

I hate that movie cause the the first time I saw it I was 5 years old and to this day I DO NOT watch it at all! Yeah it scared the living bejesus out of me.
