People always say this person has a "good" personality and this person has a "bad" personality. What do they really mean by that? Is there any ways in which I can develop a good personality and yet not be looked down on or teased by other people. I feel like I'm going in the wrong direction from the quiet, shy, and educated me to something I'm not. It makes me feel like a fool and gets me into so much trouble. Do you guys have any suggestions?

A good personality is someone who is personable, friendly, a genuinely nice person and is open to new people and things. They're usually good at keeping conversation going, funny and entertaining.

A bad personality is someone who is unfriendly, cold, close-minded and shallow.

Being shy and quiet does NOT mean you have a bad personality! Don't let anyone ever tell you that. You sound like a nice person...you just need to open up more and be a little more outgoing! I've found that most shy people have a booming, exciting personality once they get to know people and open-up and are generally always genuine people. So that's what you should do! No one will have fun around a wall flower!

Show people who you really are and come out of your shell. You'll meet more people, gain more friends, etc. You'll have more fun!

Well what do you think is a good personality? A good personality shouldnt get you in trouble. I think having a good personality means you should be friendly with people. Strike up friendly conversations with friends and aquantainces when you see them. Always say hi to everyone you know while passing them on the street. Complement people (but only on things you mean) And just be all around nice to be with.

dont even say this stuff to yourself! i wish i would have flcused more on my work, and just being me, instead of worrying what other ppl thought of me. im guessing you are in highschool right?

just be yourslef... you know all those ppl you are worried about impressing? you wont have a damn thing to do with them in a couple years, they will go off to other colleges, you will go to one, or get some job, some will never come back to the town you are in. just believe me, when you get my age, you will realize how stupid it was to act fake for the sake of other ppl.

just be yourself. thats all you got. there is no such thing as a great personality.. because everyone has different standards. i mght think that quiet smart ppl have good personalities,, while the person commenting on top of me, likes ppl that yell when they rtalk and cant count to ten. lol

just be yourself. and be happy about it. dont change for anyone.

I don't really think people should describe or divide the world as 'good' and 'bad'. Every person has something good in them. The only thing that makes people a lot better than others is that they make decisions a lot more wisely. I think all you have to do is be yourself and fight for what you think is right.

personality - collective characteristic qualities of a person.

The Hindu Upanishads say that character is a set of
attitudes of a person at a given point of time.
A person of bad character may turn good at a
later time.

Personality is a collective memory of all the
experiences of past births. It is accessed only
by the sub-conscious mind at the times of crisis.
This is what is capable of converting a person
of bad character into one with good character.

Almighty does not consist of any created material
because all that is created is subject to
annihilation. Almighty is Infinite Consciousness.
The Hindu Advitha theory says that Atma (soul) is a
finite piece of Parama Atma (Infinite Soul). Atma
represents finite consciousness. The Karma sheath
which surrounds the Atma is personality.

The one you can live with.

It doesn't matter if people think you have a good personality...that means something different to everyone.

Make sure whatever personality you portray, you can look in the mirror and be happy about who you are.
