rock CDs for each year from 1999-2002? The last time I tried this, I think I did too many years at once so it's a lot easier now. You may pick up to two for any given year. Here's my list

1999 Nine Inch Nails The Fragile
2000 Mindless Self Indulgence Frankenstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy
2000 A Perfect Circle Mer De Noms
2001 Rob Zombie The Sinister Urge
2002 Mudvayne The End Of All Things To Come
2002 Lacuna Coil Comalies

Senor Police - Great list....for the 80's.

No Name - A head start for part #3? Very nice list, except for one year which shall go nameless. You might be dead on for 2007 unless things change.

Spooky - Strong list. I liked the Dope one a lot better after they added the Dead or Alive cover. 2000 was a very tough year for me to leave MM off. The Ministry one was a Greatest Hits but Al did include What About Us? which rocked. Your Mike Patton fetish is out of control!

BuzzKill - Sorry to hear that, 99 & 00 were depressing years for me too so you weren't alone. My only regret was NOT drinking (enough). Your indie-cred remains tight as always, even with No Doubt (didn't see that one coming).

Once again, I have some in common with ya..
1999 Nin- The Fragile and Dope-Felons and Revolutionaries
2000 Frankenstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy-MSI Holywood-Marilyn Manson
2001Ministry-Greatest Fits, System of a Down- Toxicity
2002 The Dillinger Escape Plan with Mike Patton- Irony Is a Dead Scene and David Bowie-Heathen (Cause I'm a nerd)

At least those are the ones I can really think of..

I know.. I have a Patton problem... If it was any worse, you would hear on the news about me being arrested for stalking.

That time frame is tough to recall because things were a bit bleak for me and I was drinking a lot...but I'll do my best.

99' Built to Spill "Keep it like a secret" & Me First and the Gimme Gimmes "Are a Drag" - I can't stand musicals but they made the songs much more enjoyable.
00' Blonde Redhead "Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons" & No Doubt "Return of Saturn" - must've been into female singers in 2000 because I was also listening to a lot of Portishead and the Donnas as well.
01' Pedro the Lion "It's hard to find a friend"
02' Spoon "Kill the Moonlight" & Pietasters "Turbo"
