You have to specify what yield you're referring to. The formula for ROI Yield is found at the 1st link. The formula for Dividend yield is found in the 2nd link. (Dividend yield = dividends per share divided by share price). The formula for simple ROI is found in the 3rd link.

I think Roi is the rate on investment capital for the company and Yield is the rate of return on an investment that you make. I don't know what the formulas are though. You might call a Broker and they can tell you.
