Did Paul McCartney die in 1966?

Someone just asked this and it was removed not sure why ?

Maybe this is a massive conspiracy

Question asked again

Did Paul McCartney die in 1966?

For years now i have heard rumors that the Paul McCartney we see today is infact an imposter by the name of Billy Shepard and that the real Paul died in 1966 along with the Beatles manager Brian Epstein. Apparently Paul and Brian were kidnapped and pauls body was later found on a beach in France and Brian was later found in a burnt out car at the bottom of a cliff?

So what does everyone think could it be true? Or could it just have been a story to sell more records?

Here is a link with more so called evidence....

No, he did not die. It was a rumor and James Paul McCartney is alive and well. Even if he did die, his "replacement" made great music. But no, he is alive. Brian Epstein died from a drug overdose.

Sir Paul McCartney is still alive and well at age 65. Stop drinking the conspiracy Kool-Aid.

Before jumping to conclusions, check out the before and after photos here [http://digilander.libero.it/jamespaul/fc1.html]. Paul died in 1966 and was replaced by an actor.

No, Paul McCartney is alive and kicking. Whoever you heard this from is wrong. There are pictures of all the Beatles together in 1966,1967 and more.

Don't know how old you are, but there was a rumor going around in the late 1960's to that effect.

It's been well discredited. A couple of friends of mine have interviewed him since then, and one described him as the most charming person he's ever met.

I can't believe that silly rumor is still going around. Leave the poor man alone, he has enough problems with his ex.
