You were honest, and you also knew what you were talking about. And most importantly you were right. But as a woman, you should of sugar coated it, because she is going through hell right now. And because as women we should support each other, as true sisters would. A little compassion never killed anyone... Men somehow figured that one out already... We really should follow in their foot steps.

if this worries you this much...then yes you were being cruel..
but to be honest i read your answer to her question and i understand what you are saying...even though i myself am prolife.
i understand you were trying to save her a hardship...but either way...whether she has the child and it dies soon after or she chooses an abortion both will hurt her deeply.
that is only my opinion. i am not a mother. i am only saying this because it would be how i would feel.
