-this is an essay prompt and i dont know what the intro is talking about and i therefore i dont know what to write. Can u help me out? what would u say?
I do not feel terrible about my mistakes, though I grieve the pain they have sometimes caused others. Our lives are "experiments with truth," and in an experiment negative results are at least as important as successes. I have no idea how I would have learned the truth about myself and my calling without the mistakes I have made. There is something positive you can do with it.

To err is human so we cannot avoid mistakes. Learning through trial and error does not necessarily mean when you make an error you are actually hurting someone.
There may be rare times where you do indeed hurt someone with your mistake. To have empathy for those we have hurt may appear important, but only actions and time can help the injured. If you take actions that you do not make the same mistake again and take actions to assist the injured, that is all you can do. As far as sitting idly by and not do anything in your life for fear you may hurt someone is ultimately hurting yourself.

The mistakes we make in this life are seldom intentional. Many occur when there is a lack of knowledge about what we are acting upon. Forethought is crucial in minimizing the negative consequences. You will not feel as bad, if your mistake is made with full knowledge of the subject.
